Pergam Laser Falcon
Uncover Natural Gas Leaks with an Effective Methane Gas Detector
The Smallest Gas Leak Detector in the Laser Methane Copter (LMC) line.
Pergam Laser Falcon is a very lightweight laser-type methane gas detector used in several applications, including airborne methane monitoring and robotic instrumentation.
It is the lightest solution in the LMC line and can be installed on even the most compact UAV. The Laser Falcon weighs only 0,66 lb. (300 g) and has a detection distance up to 98 feet (30 meters).
Laser Falcon Methane Detector Advantages
The smallest gas leak detector in the Laser Methase Copter line, the Falcon sensor can be installed on any UAV.
Efficiency
Track the inspected route with coordinates and gas concentration and detection distance up to 98 feet (30 meters).
Data Transmission
Online (in-flight) data transmission to the drone operator’s console (through the standard DJI communication line) and easy data export for reporting.
Ease of Use
Quick installation and startup, built-in GPS receiver, and moisture-proof housing.
Remote Gas Detection
Laser Falcon is based on the utilization of laser absorption spectrophoto-meter of methane gas for gas mesurement.
The system detects natural gas leaks by emitting a laser at a particular wavelength and analyzing the light reflection from an object to determine how much was absorbed by the methane in the natural gas.
The measured gas volume is expressed by methane column density (ppm × m): methane density (ppm) multiplied by lenght (m).
The Optical Unit (OU) of the Laser Falcon detector could be installed on a gyro stabilized platform so that the laser beam is continuously directed towards pipelines and other natural gas facilities.
