The Blue Vigil Ground Power System keeps your drone flying, uninterrupted, in a stationary position for as long as you need it to stay aloft. It ends concerns—and inconvenience—caused by the limited power of a drone’s onboard rechargeable battery. With Blue Vigil RS 1000, there’s no need to return your drone to base because your battery is depleted and you need to swap it out for a fresh unit.
Blue Vigil uses a tether to provide continuous power from a ground-source battery. By powering Blue Vigil from a household outlet, power inverter, or generator, UAV flight time is indefinite. That means your eye in the sky remains exactly where it’s supposed to be; aimed at your subject or an area being monitored.

Blue Vigil RS-1000 makes it easy to establish a long-duration aerial vision that’s crucial to many tasks: policing, firefighting, managing events, investigating crimes and accidents, monitoring traffic or crowds, and maintaining security. The high-capacity Blue Vigil battery is enclosed in a lightweight but rugged case with built-in handles, and it is equipped to optionally accept uninterrupted 110v or 220v power from an outlet and cord, an inverter-equipped vehicle, or a gasoline-powered generator.
Once a drone is tethered and flown up to 164 feet overhead—a height that’s functional without threatening manned aircraft—Blue Vigil powers it continuously. Blue Vigil manages the power-carrying tether, keeping it taught, and maintains the drone’s position and orientation. There’s no longer a need to land for fresh batteries and no longer a need to constantly input flight controls, even in windy conditions. When you do land, the drone sets down within 10 feet of the Blue Vigil RS1000 and the tether retracts automatically.
