TELEDYNE FLIR THERMAL CAMERAS

THE TELEDYNE FLIR NAME IS SYNONYMOUS WITH QUALITY THERMAL IMAGING AROUND THE WORLD.

FLIR drone-mounted cameras are hard at work for farmers practicing smart agriculture, engineers taking precise measurements, firefighters saving precious lives, and inspectors protecting valuable assets. FLIR sees what the human eye cannot, and the appropriate software turns the invisible into clear solutions. Mounted to unmanned aircraft with interchangeable payloads or temporarily attached, FLIR cameras collect vast amounts of aerial data quickly and accurately.

Teledyne FLIR Serves Multiple Enterprises:

Agriculture

  • Farmers seeking to control costs, boost yield
  • Agricultural support personnel, including seed companies, agronomists, crop consultants, equipment dealers, and irrigation contractors

Public Safety

  • Firefighters who must identify hot spots in buildings before entering or in spreading wildfires
  • Search-and-rescue personnel looking for people in vegetative growth or under debris
  • Law enforcement performing nighttime surveillance

Inspection

  • Inspectors of widespread infrastructure such as highways, pipelines, solar arrays, substations, and factory and warehouse roofs
  • Inspectors of tall assets, including cell towers, wind turbines, power lines and towers, high-rise buildings, bridges

Construction

  • Engineers, surveyors, real estate developers needing accurate measurements
  • Building maintenance managers and consultants

Security

  • Prison security watching perimeters or tracking for escapees
  • Security teams monitoring facilities after dark, including parking lots, docks, and freight yards

Other Businesses

  • Insurance adjusters
  • Mine operators

FLIR THERMAL CAMERAS ADVANTAGES

Worker Safety

Worker risk is reduced because personnel are on the ground while thermal-imaging drones access remote and tall structures.

Detailed Heat Data

With the right thermal camera, heat differentiation data can be stored in every single pixel of a thermal image.

Evidence Gathering

Advanced thermal imaging can reveal identifying facial features — even at night.

4k RGB Recording

Visual data in high-definition 4K video can be overlaid on thermal mapping to pinpoint problems in fields or on infrastructure.

FLIR Vue TZ20

The dual-Boson® FLIR Vue TZ20 plug-and-play payload is designed to improve mission success and is fully integrated with the DJI V2 M200-series and M300 airframes.

This system provides a wide 95-degree field of view for maximum situational awareness, and a narrow 18-degree field of view to put more pixels on target when needed.

With up to 20x zoom capabilities, the FLIR Vue TZ20 allows drone pilots from the public safety and industrial inspection sectors to gain field of view flexibility for improved image detail and magnification to assess situations and make critical decisions.

FLIR Duo Pro R

FLIR advances dual-sensor data gathering with the FLIR Duo Pro R. Combined with the highly accurate thermal imaging sensor is a new RGB sensor capable of recording full ultra-high-definition 4K video.

It allows picture-in-picture viewing of images from visible and thermal spectrums, including sharper image overlay. The highly detailed 4K visible imagery makes identification of abnormalities indicated by thermal mapping easier and quicker than ever. Imagery is MSX-enhanced.

Carrying over from the FLIR Duo Pro R are the sensor’s calibrated non-contact temperature readings in every pixel. The camera also has humidity sensors. FLIR’s MSX technology sharpens such details as numbers, markings and even facial details—ideal for gathering evidence.

FLIR Duo R

The radiometric FLIR Duo camera series, designated with the letter “R” in the model name, produces the line’s highest temperature accuracy and detail yet. The FLIR Duo R senses and records highly accurate, calibrated non-contact temperature measurements in every single pixel.

Aerial temperature mapping has never been as precise or as quick. That all translates to an unsurpassed ability to read even minute temperature differentials. In the FLIR tradition, setup and calibration are extremely simple and fast, in spite of the camera’s sophistication.
