Quantum Systems is a fixed-wing drone company that develops advanced eVTOL aircraft. Designed for true vertical take-off and landing, eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing) drones use electric power to fly and hover, granting greater control over flights. Because a runway or extra equipment is not needed for take-off or landing, launching the drone and jumpstarting operations is simple and efficient. These UAVs provide a smooth and controlled landing and absorb shock through their landing gear, extending equipment lifespan.  Quantum Systems has several eVTOL drones, including the popular Trinity F90+ and Tron F90+ UAVs.

The Tron F90+

The Tron F90+ is a professional and high-performing electric UAV that offers high efficiency and flexibility for commercial uses. It supports up to 90 minutes of max flight time, 2.4Ghz telemetry, and greater accuracy with PPK GPS correction technology.

PPK offers a more reliable data correction technology and easier setup because it isn’t necessary to maintain a link between the stationary base station and the drone base station, and another link between the drone base station and the drone itself. Since there are fewer telemetry links to maintain, the chances of interruption decrease significantly. This limits the amount of lost correction data during your survey flight and increases GPS data quality. With its georeferencing feature on iBase, pilots and surveyors can easily relate aerial photo images to a geographic coordinate system.

The Trinity F90+

Quantum Systems’ flagship drone, the Trinity F90+, is a fixed-wing UAV that can cover up to 20x larger areas compared to classic multi-copter UAVs due to its longer flight time capacity. It has an optimized electric layout and an efficient cargo container for reliability. The Trinity F90+ comes with an ergonomic controller with a clean layout, free of confusing switches or levers, providing seamless communication with the drone. The Trinity F90+ is a popular drone, used widely across the agricultural sector, the mining business, the construction industry, and any other sector that requires inspection of large areas in short periods of time.

Payloads & Accessories

Quantum Systems has a wide variety of payload options to support a wide variety of needs, including imaging options up to 42 MP. The latest option in their payload suite is the Oblique D2M. This powerful imaging system consists of five high-resolution multidirectional cameras, making it the ideal tool for large-scale 3D photogrammetry. The combination of four oblique cameras and one NADIR camera allows the Oblique D2M to capture complex geometries with ease, ensuring remarkable detail even on slanted surfaces.

The Oblique D2M also features high-speed storage that can hold up to 640 GB of data, so users get the convenience of both efficiency and data quality. Their portfolio is supplemented by multispectral cameras from MicaSense, including the Altum-PT and RedEdge-P, which are powerful multispectral cameras. The Altum-PT features a thermal camera, which offers synchronized thermal images, which is great for production agriculture, phenotyping, and environmental monitoring. The RedEdge-P also has a high-resolution RGB camera, which is a premium solution for capturing multispectral data which can be applied in agriculture, forestry, environmental monitoring, and more.

All payloads can be swapped in seconds by using the QuickLock mechanism, saving users time when out on the field; the sensors are highly integrated to support the pilots’ mission planning, and users can gain easy access to the data by using external card slots.

All data is gathered through QBase3D, which is the intuitive mission planning software for Quantum Systems. It is the main interface between the user and the drone, allowing pilots to plan advanced flights with increased safety through its integrated 3D view. QBase3D also supports live weather data to ensure secured flights while out on the field.
